Meghan Carter

Meghan was born in Twin Falls, Idaho and raised in Idaho and Wyoming. She has a B.S. in Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. After a brief period working in Alzheimer’s disease research at the University of Chicago, she returned to Idaho in 2007. In 2013, she obtained a M.S. in Water Resource Management and J.D. from the University of Idaho.

Meghan is licensed in Idaho. Prior to joining the firm, she spent twelve years as a Deputy Attorney General serving as in-house counsel for the Idaho Department of Water Resources and Idaho Water Resource Board. There she gained experience in water law, administrative law, contracts, as well as civil litigation and administrative appeals.

In her spare time Meghan enjoys curling, motorcycle riding, knitting and volunteering at the Idaho Humane Society.
